Why I blog
Blogging is something that was accidental. I have always been into fashion at an early age, thanks to my late mum. However I was not satisfied with the content I used to see on different fashion blogs at the time.
Keep in mind that things have dramatically changed over the years. There is a blog for everything. My initial niche, 10 years ago, was replicating celebrity looks for less. Basically looking like a Star without breaking the bank.
Staying home for an extended maternity leave, because my husband and family insisted I stayed home for a year due to what I went through while giving birth, was the birth of my blogger life.
Blogging is therapeutic for me and it doesn’t only entail taking pictures and posting on a blog page. My phone’s camera roll has over 5000 pictures (don’t judge) from screenshots, to saved pics and me taking pics of inspirations around me. By the way my phone crashed two months ago and I lost every single picture in my phone and I didn’t have any care in the world. Believe it or not, I have accumulated double the number of pictures since then lol.
You may think blogging is time consuming. Given I’m a mom and have a career. Well when you are doing something you love, in my case obsessed with, it doesn’t feel like hard work. I love putting outfits together for friends and families. Whenever I’m asked to help look for a particular look for an event, I get really excited. An excuse to do some online shopping (like I need one lol). It’s truly gratifying to help dress anyone and see the smile on their face.
